Recruitment Fraud Alert

Alert: Beware of Employment Scams

Xilio has received reports of recent employment scams in which fictitious job opportunities are offered to job seekers. Unsuspecting job seekers have reported receiving unsolicited contacts by phone, email or text from individual(s) purporting to be or represent Xilio recruiter(s). Please be advised that Xilio does not extend unsolicited employment offers; a formal recruitment process, including an interview with a member of Xilio’s talent acquisition team, is required to gain an offer of employment from Xilio. Additionally, Xilio’s team members will never use a Gmail or other personal email address to contact potential applicants.

In some instances, the fraudsters have sought financial commitments as part of their illegitimate recruiting process. Xilio team members will never ask for personal financial information or personal identification information, such as banking account numbers, social security, or driver’s license numbers, nor would we charge job seekers fees or request you to purchase anything as part of the recruitment process.

If you are applying for a position at Xilio, you can confirm the legitimacy of a job posting by viewing the current open roles at the bottom of our Culture & Career page: https://www.xiliotx.com/careers.

If you feel you are falling victim to recruitment fraud, or something just doesn’t feel right, please contact your local authorities and/or reach out to us here: https://www.xiliotx.com/contact-us.
